Hello Kiyomi‘s! I’m very lucky to be picked by Etude House Philippines from their previous creative flat lay photo contest and sent me a Dear My Blooming Lips-talk Chiffon Special Limited Box! Kamsahamnida! :-)
The Sweet Box is a collaboration with the glasses brand Optical W, a eyewear professional known for unique concept, designs and colors . I received box #1 which contains the black sunglasses.
The Lipstalk Sweet Box comes into two lovely contents:
Etude House has released a new lipstick line with a texture that’s called Chiffon. This collection contains 12 colors and the difference between their previous lip products with Chiffon, it comes in three different finishes: cream, matte and chiffon. It’s texture mixes the soft and moisture with vivid and long lasting formula.
Out of the 12 I received a two shades: PK027 Pit-A-Pat Chiffon Pink (Krystal’s Pick) and BE108 Hug Chiffon Beige.
This is what the packaging looks like! It looks simple and mature but has elegant design. Although it is cute but feels cheap, it reminds me of a typical drugstore lipstick packaging, instead of Etude House’s usual princess style. Anyway, who cares about the packaging quality if the lipstick itself is amazing! :-)
The packaging is light pink with tiny glitters. I love it! :-) At the ends of each lipstick, there’s like a mini mirror like thing too.
There is an English ingredients list at the back and the seal of the packaging has the shade color on it.
The Dear My Blooming Lips-Talk Chiffon lipsticks contain 3.4 grams of product and retails for P578.00 on the Etude House Philippines playhouse nationwide.
The Chiffon texture leans a lot more towards creamy and a nice matte finish, it was really easy to apply on which I prefer because my lips tend to be too dry for full-on matte lips. Plus, it has this lovely, sweet scent to it.
This is how they swatch on my arm. PK027 is a very vibrant hot pink and this color brightens my complexion well. This shade will definitely look stunning on all skin tones! BE109 on the other hand is a nice peachy nude and actually a warmed toned nude.
I tried if it’s transfer-proof with a tissue paper; it is not a lot of transferring when wearing these lipsticks so I guess it’s completely semi-matte but it does disappear and fades nicely after I washed it.
The glasses are very reflective, sturdy and pretty! The frames are a matte black and the lenses are a gray.
I love how the design mixes with pink on the temple, very etude! :-)
This is definitely a shade I see myself wearing perfectly on date nights or if I want to focus my makeup on the lips. It’s a very loud color that is very eye-catching!
It’s not the perfect lip color for me to wear for everyday makeup but I think it’s super versatile and can go with every look and any occasion for the warm undertone.
The Dear My Blooming Lips-talk Chiffon is probably one of the best lipsticks I’ve ever owned. I have a decent history with the other Dear My Blooming Lips Talk collections but I’m loving this new and improved lipstick line, with the new finishes, it is one of the best affordable lipsticks I have ever tried. The formula is super creamy and pigmented with just ONE swipe. The color goes on so evenly and smoothly like butter and kind of just melts onto the lips. Thankfully, it doesn’t settle into fine lines or emphasize dryness at all but I suggest to exfoliate your lips first with lip balm to avoid unnecessary dryness. It still last a long time though and it also fade but I like that it leaves a tint on the lips. The Chiffon lipsticks all have a delicious fruity scent that smells so good! I would definitely repurchase and try other shades! I highly, recommend these to anyone, especially shade PK027 which is the perfect shade.
